Los tamales siempre están envueltos en hoja de platano, cuando se envuelven en la panca (hoja) de la mazorca de maíz se les denomina humitas
Ejemplo : "1) Los mejores tamales son los de Chincha
2) que ricos esos tamalitos verdes piuranos"
